Fierce Grace

(90 minutes)

Our user-friendly but challenging general level class. Hip openers, deep twists, upper body strengtheners, bum and ab toners, this fully rounded workout works 100% of the body.

It is a combination of Hatha, Power and Ashtanga yoga, Interval and Core Training and offers peak fitness, strength, flexibility and relaxation. Performed to music this class is designed to develop a sense of enjoyment and freedom and to allow one’s breath and energy to fuel the practise. This class is the centre spoke of all the classes and the class they all originate from.

Classic

(90 minutes)

Our traditional hot yoga class with more alignment, hip opening and upper body and core poses.

This motivating class develops alignment while building strength, stamina and flexibility. A great full body workout. Suitable for all ages and levels from the unfit to the experienced.

Deep Core

(75 minutes)

The deepest stretch out there.

Suitable for beginners and advanced students alike, this is an alignment class, both motivating and relaxing. Floor-based, allowing us to drop any desire to “perform” and connect deeply with body and breath. Designed to realign postural issues and release stress, the slower pace allows time to work with injuries, learn correct alignment and work on flexibility.

WILD

(60 minutes)

WILD is a new cardio-yoga class that bridges the gap between conventional gym workouts and yoga.

WILD combines Kundalini Yoga, Barre, resistance stretching, HIIT and Super Slow training to strengthen and sculpt every inch of your body. Get strong and fit in this high energy, fast-paced class.

FIERCE

aka ‘THE BEAST’

(1hr 45 minutes)

A user-friendly Intermediate / Advanced class. 

Learn the developments of the poses you have learned in the other classes. We will encourage you, while pushing you. If you are new to it, we will help you learn the steps to master some of the most glamorous poses in yoga. If you are an advanced practitioner, we will guide you to new heights.

IN

(75 minutes)

A deep, slow class, based entirely on the floor. This class is yoga physiotherapy, deeply correcting, aligning and releasing.

You will open your hips, spine, neck, shoulders and wrists carefully, deeply and softly. You will get flexible in slow holds, stronger in stationary core activators, passively and actively open tight areas with the help of props. You will go from active poses to gradually getting wound down, de-stressed and softened. We end with a long Yoga Nidra and guided meditation.

THE FIX

(50 minutes)
The condensed version of everything with some added surprises.

This is a super-charged class designed to get you fitter faster when you are high on motivation but low on time. A mix of Classic and FG, with a focus on arms, abs and stamina. Students familiar with Classic and FG classes only should be doing this class as a “top-up.”

S.O.B.

Stiff, Old or Broken

(75 minutes)

A modified Fix class for beginners, injured, stiff, really unfit. 

 A great beginners class, there is more time to understand how to work safely and effectively, get to know the poses, learn modifications and ask questions. We will show you how to modify for your needs, and there is extra time for questions. The class allows practitioners to enter a Fierce Grace or Classic class and know what to do for you. We will help set you on your path to do the other classes with an understanding of your physical issues.

PRIMAL

(60/75 minutes)

Awaken your primal instincts and get in prime condition. An evolution of the Classic Class. Safe for newcomers whilst moving the avid FG-o-phile into new areas. 

The key foundation poses coupled with a breath-led Warrior sequence, new poses, and groan inducing core and arm strengthening. The simplicity of the class is balanced by its power. A great foundation class. Suitable for newcomers and experienced alike.

FG2

(90 minutes)

An evolution of the popular Fierce Grace format, giving an alchemical mix of structure and freedom. 

Launch into uncharted territory with a safety net below your bare feet. Explore variations, the unexpected, optional advanced poses and surprises. Move your practise along wherever openings occur for you. Cleverly sequenced to embrace all levels, FG2 straddles Fierce Grace and The Beast allowing more experienced students deeper exploration of advanced poses, while beginners can remain safely in the earlier expression of the pose.

The Fly

(60 minutes)

A new one hour class with energetic flows and the secrets to arm balancing: building upper body strength, balance and focus. Learn the alignment protocols of inversions and arm balancing, and turn yourself upside down, get fit, and enjoy new challenges. Prepare yourself for an Advanced practise and learn user-friendly “glamour poses” such as Crow, Crane, Side Crow, Flying Pigeon, Dolphin and other fun arm balancing poses.

WARM

Classic & Fierce Grace Classes

(90 minutes)

Classic or Fierce Grace class with only ambient heat. Acclimatise, or for those who dislike heat, hot days, or when you just want to generate your own internal heat.

TIPS

Never been to any of our studios?

You will need:

2 towels – one to practise on and one to shower with. We can supply them for £1.20 each

We supply bottled water at £1.20 per bottle

We supply yoga mats at a cost of £1

Tips: 

Come to class hydrated. Drink 1.5 litres of water 2 hours before class.

We advise you not to eat much in the 2 hours before class.

Sit down whenever you feel like it and take it easy at the start.

Tell the teacher before class if you have any injuries. Never work into pain.

You may feel a bit dizzy in the first 20 minutes. That’s normal. Sit down and breathe through your nose. Drink more water next time.

Don’t wear bulky clothing.
